Empowering Canadian secondary school students through scientific research
CANADIAN JOURNAL OF STUDENT RESEARCH
For youth. By youth. For Canada's Scientific Future

A national, peer-reviewed science journal dedicated to showcasing original STEM research conducted by secondary students across Canada.
We are committed to fostering academic excellence, scientific inquiry, and innovation among the next generation of scholars. Through rigorous editorial standards and a collaborative review process, we provide a platform for young researchers to contribute meaningfully to the scientific community.
Join us in advancing youth-led research and promoting scientific literacy nationwide.
Mission & Values:
Amplifying student research and giving young scholars a voice:
We ensure that student work is not limited to the classroom or science fair presentations. This journal offers a lasting space to publish and share their ideas with the wider community.
Encouraging scientific communication, creativity, and clarity:
Scientific discovery is only meaningful when communicated effectively. Through this journal, we foster the development of skills in presenting complex ideas clearly and creatively.
Promoting equity in STEM:
Access to scientific publication should not be reserved for later stages of education. We believe that high school students should have the opportunity to contribute to the scientific community from an early age.
Creating a legacy of knowledge for future student researchers:
By engaging students in the full research and publication process, we foster curiosity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of science. Amplifying youth voices today empowers the next generation to lead and innovate tomorrow.
